My work explores how the mind’s eye turns fantasy into reality. I look at the ways individuals create myths in their everyday lives and project themselves outward into the world. I paint situations that show where our imaginations and real life experiences overlap. I finds inspiration in folktales and folksongs, mythology, and little moments of everyday living.

In the studio I make drawings, prints, and paintings with a variety of materials and techniques such as: colored pencils, gouache, graphite, ink, paint markers, pastels, and oil and water based paints to create images of myself and others.
